
Aces-Sky Sox Washed Out By Rain

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-After a lengthy rain and lightning delay, the series finale between the Reno Aces and Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Security Service Field was cancelled. No makeup date will be scheduled.
The Aces led 2-1 until the game was halted in the bottom half of the second inning because of severe lightning and rain showers.
The Aces now head to Las Vegas for the final road series of the season and the continuation of the Silver State Diamond Challenge. In Wednesday's opener, RHP Billy Buckner (9-3, 3.25 ERA) gets the ball for Reno. The 51s counter with LHP Fabio Castro (6-6, 4.56). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. PT from Cashman Field.
