Dash's Thursday Game in Lynchburg Postponed

Lynchburg, Va. (June 4, 2015) - Due to persistent rain in the area, Thursday's series opener between the Dash and the Hillcats in Lynchburg has been postponed due to rain.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday. First pitch of game one is set for 5:30 p.m., while the nightcap will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opener. The doubleheader will consist of a pair of seven-inning contests.
This marks the seventh time in 2015 that weather has affected a Dash game. The Dash are 2-4 in doubleheader games.
Thus, the Dash's road set in Lynchburg will begin on Friday. Matt Heidenreich (7-0, 1.78 ERA) will put his undefeated record on the line in the opener of the double dip, while the rest of the probable pitchers for Friday's two games have yet to be announced.
