
Dash Series Opener with Hillcats Postponed Due to Rain

Winston-Salem, NC - The series opener between the Winston-Salem Dash and Lynchburg Hillcats on Friday night at Wake Forest baseball Park was postponed due to inclement weather. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday night. Both games are scheduled for seven innings with the opener set for 6 p.m. All tickets for Friday night's game are redeemable for any remaining Dash home game in the 2009 season.
The Winston-Salem Dash has teamed up with the Second Harvest Food Bank to strike out hunger on Thursday, September 3 when they host the Salem Red Sox at Wake Forest Baseball Park. The Dash is offering a special ticket price of $5 to everyone associated with Second Harvest Food Bank and all fans that support their mission. Anyone who donates a nonperishable food item at the game on September 3rd will receive this special $5 ticket offer.
