Candidates Night Coming To Harry Grove Stadium

Frederick, MD - On Wednesday, September 2nd candidates from each side of the aisle are coming to Harry Grove Stadium for a night of on-field games and festivities as the Keys host the Kinston Indians at 7:00 p.m.

City of Frederick Mayoral candidates Jennifer Dougherty (Democrat), Jason Judd (Democrat), Randy McClement (Republican), Chris Simpson (Democrat), and Ron Tobin (Republican) will be present. At least 13 Alderman Candidates will also be present representing Democrats and Republicans for the upcoming election.

Candidates will be a part of a night of on-field games and in-game contests to earn points for their party. After a night of fun, the winning party will be announced.

The night will also feature informational booths for candidates. Fittingly, Democrats will be on the left side of the concourse with Republicans on the right.

Primaries are to be held Tuesday, September 15th for the City of Frederick elections with Election Day 2009 set for Tuesday, November 3rd.

Frederick returns home for its final homestand of the season Friday, August 28th as the Keys take on Myrtle Beach at 7:00 p.m. There will be a beer tasting in the Keys Café and Fireworks will follow the game.
