
Darling Drops 30 but Clippers Fall Short to Skyforce

Sioux Falls, SD- The Agua Caliente Clippers (7-4) lose their third straight game on Thursday night, falling to the Sioux Falls Skyforce (3-9), 116-109, in South Dakota.
Six Clippers scored in double-figures, led by Nate Darling's 30 points, which included seven three-pointers.
Javonte Smart led all scorers with 36 points on 13-for-24 shooting from the field for the Skyforce.
After a close game through the half, Sioux Falls blew the game open early in the fourth quarter and took a 20-point advantage. The Clippers wouldn't give up, cutting the gap to within four points with 1:24 remaining, but the Skyforce responded to halt the comeback attempt.
Next up, the Clippers remain on the road and head to Des Moines, Iowa to take on the Iowa Wolves on Saturday night. Tip-off is at 5 p.m. PT inside the Wells Fargo Arena.
