NICE JOB MATHIEU!: Left wing Mathieu Darche continues to add to his already career year with a strong finish. Darche scored a goal in all three games this week to extend his point streak to five games (4g, 4a). Darche has at least one point in 11 of his last 13 games (8g, 9a) helping him move within one points (144) of Reggie Savage (145) for fifth on the Crunch's all-time scoring list. Darche has appeared in 73 games for the Crunch this season with a team high 32 goals and 59 points.
MORAN HITS STRIDE: Center Brad Moran extended his point streak to four games (3g, 3a) on Sunday night after recording a goal and an assist vs. Wilkes-Barre Scranton. A native of Abbotsford, BC, Moran has appeared in 44 games with the Crunch this season, recording 10 goals, 17 assists and 27 penalty minutes. Moran is eighth on the Crunch's all-time goals list with 46 career tallies.
CLARKSON GOALIE GETS CHANCE: Former Clarkson goaltender Mike Walsh made his professional debut Saturday night for the Crunch, turning aside 21 of 22 Wilkes-Barre/Scranton shots in 36 minutes of relief duty. Walsh, 23, played in 23 games for Clarkson (ECAC) this year, posting a 6-14-2 record with a 2.42 goals against average and a .910 save percentage. A native of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Walsh is the first Clarkson player to appear in a Crunch uniform.
SYRACUSE â COLUMBUS SHUTTLE: Thirteen players have appeared in both a Syracuse and Columbus uniform this season: Blake Bellefeuille, Mathieu Darche, Matt Davidson, Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre, J.F. Labbe, Pascal Leclaire* (served as back-up to Marc Denis), David Ling, Paul Manning, Andrej Nedorost, Darrel Scoville, Darren Van Impe, Derrick Walser & Duvie Westcott.

PHILADELPHIA (PHILADELPHIA FLYERS): Syracuse travels to Philadelphia on Wednesday, April 2 for the final of six regular season meetings. Philadelphia leads the series 3-2-0, despite being defeated by Syracuse 3-1 in their last meeting on March 5. Right wing Kirby Law (5g, 1a) leads all players in head-to-head scoring with six points. Left wing Andrej Nedorost (4a) and right wing David Ling (1g, 3a) lead all Syracuse players with four points. Neil Little has appeared in four games for Philadelphia with a 3-1-0 record, a 2.01 goals against average and .920 save percentage. Pascal Leclaire has appeared in four games for Syracuse with a 1-2-0 record, a 2.27 goals against average and .923 save percentage. Lifetime, the Crunch is 8-16-7 against the Phantoms.
ROCHESTER (BUFFALO SABRES): Syracuse and Rochester play a home and home series this weekend with Syracuse traveling to Rochester on Friday, April 4 and then returning to the War Memorial at Oncenter on Saturday, April 5 to play the 11th and 12th of 12 regular season games. Rochester leads the series 6-2-2, after defeating Syracuse 4-2 in their last meeting on March 16. Center Chris Taylor (1g, 7a) leads all players in head-to-head scoring with eight points. Syracuse left wing Mathieu Darche (2g, 5a) and right wing Matt Davidson (4g, 3a) lead the Crunch with seven points. Ryan Miller has appeared in eight games for Rochester with a 6-0-2 record, 1.46 goals against average and .949 save percentage. Karl Goehring has appeared in net eight times for Syracuse with a 2-4-1 record, 2.63 goals against average and ..911 save percentage. Lifetime, Syracuse is 36-49-13 against Rochester.
INJURY UPDATE: Center Blake Bellefeuille is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a neck injury suffered on March 16 @ Rochester. Bellefeuille has missed six games with the injury... Left wing Trevor Ettinger is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a neck injury suffered on March 16 @ Rochester. Ettinger has missed six games with the injury... Defenseman Darrel Scoville is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury suffered on March 23 @ Cleveland. Scoville has missed three games with the injury... Defenseman Paul Manning is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury suffered on March 28 vs. Hamilton. Manning has missed two games with the injury.
