The BEARS score in the final minute of regulation to come from behind and defeat the Albany River Rats 2-1 at Pepsi Arena. The win was the sixth straight for HERSHEY, and eighth in the last nine games.

HERSHEY and Albany battled to a scoreless draw after one period. The BEARS fired 16 shots against River Rats goaler Scott Clemmensen, while Peter Budaj stopped all nine shots Albany fired. Only three minor penalties were called in the first 20 minutes, with HERSHEY enjoying two of the three power play opportunities.

Albany finally broke the scoreless tie at the 12:31 mark of the second period when Zach Parise took a Bobby Allen pass and scored low to the ice against Peter Budaj to give the Rats a 1-0 lead. HERSHEY outshot the Rats 11-7 in the second period but went to the dressing room trailing after two periods 1-0.

Andre Savage scored the game-tying goal on the power play in the third period at the 1:53 mark with assists from Nick Naumenko and Eric Perrin. The game-winner came off the stick of Mathieu Darche at 19:22 of the third to give HERSHEY its sixth consecutive victory. The BEARS have won all six meetings with Albany, including all four games at Pepsi Arena.

The BEARS finish the current three-game road trip Wednesday at Norfolk against the Admirals. Face-off is at 7:30 p.m.
