NEXT HOME GAME: Saturday, January 8th vs. PROVIDENCE at 7:05 p.m. Salute the New England Patriots! Meet the New England Patriots cheerleaders, who will perform during the 1st intermission, and sign autographs during the second intermission in the Captain's Club. The first 300 fans to the autograph session will receive a free Patriots poster!
The Pirates post a 13-17-3-4 record and are in sixth place heading into this weekend's games. Boyd Gordon is the only Pirate to play in all 37 games.
Friday, January 7th @ Hartford 7:05 p.m. The Pirates are 1-2-0-1 against the Wolf Pack this season. Tomas Fleischmann and Jakub Klepis both have two goals against Hartford this season.

Sunday, 1/16 vs. Manchester 4:05 - Support STRIVE U and the Pirates by ordering your tickets for the Pirates January 16th game vs. Manchester with Noel Thompson at 828-4665 ext. 304. Thompson is a student from STRIVE U and works as an Account Executive with the Pirates. The program is part of STRIVE U, which provides opportunities for young adults with developmental disabilities to make an impact in the community by performing jobs with local employers to gain real world skills.
Saturday, 1/22 vs. Worcester 7:05 - VIP, Parts, Tires and Service Night! The 6,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Portland Pirates/VIP t-shirt.

IN THE COMMUNITY
The Portland Pirates and the Maine's WB and Maine's UPN teamed up to donate hats and gloves to local children as part of the "Ticket Treasure" campaign. The campaign concluded this week, which donated a total of 357 hats, 417 pairs of gloves, four scarves, and two pairs of booties, one doll and one teddy bear to the United Way to benefit area kids and families.
This Saturday, join Pirates players at the Hannaford supermarkets in Yarmouth, ME from 12:30-2:00 p.m. and at the Hannaford location in Sanford, ME from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, January 11th, the Pirates will present their second Goals for Success program of the year. Pirates players will be speaking at the Coffin School in Brunswick, ME from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
