The Edmonton Oilers have assigned defenceman Dan Syvret to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.
Syvret, who was recalled to Edmonton for the second time this season on February 26th, played 12 games with the Oilers and was scoreless with four penalty minutes. He led led Oilers in time on ice in two of his 12 games, including a season-high 27:49 vs St. Louis on March 17th.
In 50 games with the Griffins this season, the 5'11", 203-pound defenceman, has scored four goals and 14 assists for 18 points with 12 penalty minutes and is -1.
