Dallas Stars Recall Jamie Oleksiak

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today defenseman Jamie Oleksiak has been recalled to the NHL.
Oleksiak (oh-LEHK-see-ak), 21, appeared in Friday's game for Texas against the Charlotte Checkers, a 3-1 win. This season the 6-foot-7, 250-pound native of Toronto, Ontario has appeared in 21 games for Dallas with a goal and three assists.
Oleksiak was a first-round selection (14th overall) of Dallas in 2011.
Texas will host the Charlotte Checkers tonight at 7 p.m. at Cedar Park Center.
