Dallas Reassigns Patrik Nemeth to Texas

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Patrik Nemeth to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Nemeth, 23, registered three assists in 22 games played for Dallas this season. He missed 52 games to injury after suffering an arm laceration on Oct. 18 against Philadelphia. The blueliner also appeared in five games for Texas from Feb. 20 - 28, posting one assist.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound native of Stockholm, Sweden was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (41st overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.

The Texas Stars entered the 2014-15 season as the AHL's defending Calder Cup Champions.
