
Blackhawks Recall Cumiskey and Raanta

Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled defenseman Kyle Cumiskey and goaltender Antti Raanta from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Cumiskey, 28, has appeared in seven games with Chicago this season. The Abbotsford, British Columbia, native has recorded 20 points (2G, 18A) in 54 games with Rockford. Signed as a free agent on July 2, 2014, Cumiskey has 35 career points (9G, 26A) in 139 NHL games with Colorado and Chicago. Cumiskey previously tallied two points (1G, 1A) in six Stanley Cup Playoff games in 2010.
Raanta, 25, has posted a 7-4-1 record, including one shutout, a .936 save percentage and 1.89 goals-against average in 14 games for the Blackhawks this season. The Rauma, Finland, native ranks second in GAA and tied with Scott Darling for third in save percentage among NHL goaltenders with at least 10 appearances this year. Raanta owns an 8-1-1 record, including two shutouts, a .918 save percentage and 2.38 GAA in 11 games with the IceHogs this season.
Next Home Game: Wednesday, April 15 vs. Charlotte Checkers. The IceHogs begin a three-game homestand to close out their regular season schedule when they host Charlotte at the BMO.
