FC Dallas News Release
After securing a point on the road with a 0-0 draw at DC United last Saturday, the Burn returns home to face the Kansas City Wizards this Saturday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Dragon Stadium in Southlake. The Wizards, who have played one more game than Dallas, are currently in second place in the Western Conference with five points, two ahead of the fourth-place Burn. The first 5,000 fans 16-and-under at Saturday's match will receive a free Dallas Burn replica jersey courtesy of Atletica and got milk?
THE SERIES
The Burn leads the all-time series 11-9-4...the two teams tied in their first three meetings last year before the Wizards took a 1-0 victory in Dallas in the final meeting of 2002...that victory snapped a Burn five-game home unbeaten streak vs. the Wizards...in the last six home games vs. Kansas City, the Burn has gone 4-1-1 and outscored the Wizards 17-3...Dallas has lost just twice in the last ten meetings, posting a 4-2-4 record while outscoring the Wizards 19-10 over that span...Jason Kreis has 12 goals and seven assists for 31 points in 23 career games vs. Kansas City.
O'BRIEN TO UNDERGO SURGERY ON TUESDAY
Burn midfielder Ronnie O'Brien is scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday morning to repair a fractured right fibula that he suffered in Saturday's match at DC United. According to Burn Head Trainer Josh Watts, the surgery is a season-ending procedure.
COUNTESS BOUNCES BACK FROM INJURY WITH SHUTOUT
Burn goalkeeper DJ Countess showed no ill effects from a partially torn right quad suffered in the team's opener as he posted his first career shutout on Saturday vs. DC United. Countess came up with several big saves in the match and finished the evening with six total saves. He currently leads the league in goals-against average at 0.48 and in saves percentage at 90.9%.

DEFENDER PAUL BROOME ON THIS WEEK'S "INSIDE SOCCER" SHOW
Burn defender Paul Broome will be the guest on this Thursday's edition of "Inside Soccer" at 6:00 p.m. on Fox Sports Radio 1190 AM. This Thursday's show will mark the fourth of five consecutive weeks that the show will broadcast live from Trail Dust Steak House at Grapevine Mills Mall. Fans are encouraged to attend the live broadcast of the show at Trail Dust.
MLS CUP 2002 REMATCH SOCCER SATURDAY MATCHUP ON ESPN2
This weekend's Soccer Saturday matchup features a rematch of MLS Cup 2002 as the Los Angeles Galaxy travel to New England to face the Revolution at 3:00 p.m. on ESPN2. Los Angeles captured MLS Cup 2002 with a 1-0 victory on a golden goal by Carlos Ruiz.

Wednesday, May 7 - Burn midfielder Oscar Pareja and forward Ronald Cerritos will be at the Fiesta Mart grand opening at 2951 Buckner Road. The players will sign autographs and raffle off free Burn tickets courtesy of Atletica from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, May 9 - Midfielders Antonio Martinez and Joselito Vaca will be at the Fiesta Mart on Buckner from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
