COLUMBUS, Ohio (Monday, May 5) - Columbus returns home to Crew Stadium this Saturday, May 10, to take on the Colorado Rapids at 7:30 p.m. (ET).
The Crew (2-1-2, 8 pts.) is coming off a 2-2 tie against Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium last Saturday, while Colorado (0-2-1, 1 pt.) fell 2-1 on the road to the MetroStars on Saturday.
Saturday night at Crew Stadium will be enjoyable one, as the first 1,000 mothers to come up to The Crew Kicker stage prior to the game will get a carnation in honor of Mother's Day on Sunday, May 11, as part of WCOL's salute to "Soccer Moms." Morning show host "Woody" Johnson will be on site as WCOL will also give away 1,000 Magic Mountain gift certificates to youth soccer players wearing their jerseys who come up to the Kicker Stage as part of salute to "Youth Soccer Night." In addition, WCOL will register moms to win a $200 Spa Package from Kenneth's.
Crew fans can listen to the English radio broadcast on The New Eagle, 103.9, www.thecrew.com and www.matchnight.com. The game can also be heard in Spanish on 1580 WVKO.
After Colorado, The Crew are back on the road to take on the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, May 17, at 10 p.m. at Spartan Stadium.
