
Dale Earnhardt Foundation Night With The Kannapolis

KANNAPOLIS, NC - The Kannapolis Intimidators, the Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, are teaming up with the Dale Earnhardt Foundation for a special night on Saturday, June 26th at 7:05 for their game with the Augusta GreenJackets (San Francisco Giants) at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. The Intimidators will offer special ticket prices for this game and fans will have the chance to register and win prizes.
The Dale Earnhardt Foundation's mission is to continue Dale's legacy through charitable programs and grants that sustain his lifelong commitment to Children, Education and Environmental/Wildlife Preservation. The Intimidators will be offering a special ticket plan for $11 that includes a reserved seat ticket to the game, food voucher, redeemable for a hot dog, bag of chips, and a drink, and a Dale Earnhardt "Continue the Legend Bracelet." The Intimidators will also offer this package with a general admission seat for $9. A portion of the proceeds for each ticket sold will go to the Dale Earnhardt Foundation.
In addition to the special ticket packages, members of the Earnhardt family will be on hand to sign autographs and mingle with fans throughout the game. The Intimidators are also pleased to offer a $1.00 ballpark buck to spend anywhere in the stadium for any fan donates a book to the Dale Earnhardt Book Center at the stadium entrance where the famous Number Three car is located.
Prior to Dale Earnhardt's passing he was a part-owner of the organization which was renamed to the Kannapolis Intimidators in his honor. Earnhardt was born in Kannapolis, NC and was an avid baseball fan, so the Intimidators held a special place in his heart.
