Dakota Wizards Tip Off D-League Cares Season Of Giving

BISMARCK, ND - Nov. 25, 2009 - The Dakota Wizards have announced today that their Season of Giving will tip-off this week, culminating with the Wizards home opener for the 2009-10 season.
Thursday, November 26th, the Dakota Wizards will partner with AID Incorporated to help serve Thanksgiving meals to families in need in North Dakota.
On Saturday, for the Wizards home opener, the Wizards have donated 1,600 tickets to employees of Bobcat and their families in appreciation of their hard-work and dedication to the Bismarck-Mandan community after it was announced earlier this Fall that the local Bobcat plant would be closing, along with the 731 jobs it's provided for the community.
The Wizards first event during the Season of Giving was on November 18th, when the Wizards invited area children to the arena for a Read to Achieve event.
With nearly 200 children in attendance, Wizards players read to the children, colored Wizards logos and went through drills with the children as well.
