
Dakota Wizards Acquire Cheyne Gadson

Bismarck, ND - The Dakota Wizards announced today that they have acquired guard Cheyne Gadson. The 29-year-old Oklahoma State product has played three seasons in the NBA Development League with the Tulsa, Austin, Albuquerque and Los Angeles franchises. In 108 career D-League games, Gadson has averaged 13.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 31.8 minutes of action.
Said Gadson, "I'm ecstatic to be here and I wouldn't want to play for any other team in the D-League." Gadson will wear #21 and be in action tonight as the Wizards play their annual New Year's Eve home game against the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
To make room for Gadson on the roster, Dakota released guard Jason Straight.
