February turned out to be a sweetheart of a month for Tulsa Oilers center Jim Dahl.
With at least a point in each of the Oilers 13 games in February, Dahl has been named the Central Hockey League's Sher-Wood Player of the Month for February. He also had a league high +20 in the month.
The six-foot, 200 pounder, from Minnetonka, Minnesota had eight goals and 16 assists for 24 points in the 13 games. He leads all CHL rookies in scoring with 33 goals and 74 points.
Dhal will try to keep his scoring streak in tact as the Oilers host Oklahoma City Friday night and Wichita Saturday night. Both games start at 7:35.
