Corpus Christi IceRays News Release

The Corpus Christi Rayz would like to remind fans of the 4th Annual Ice Cold Golf Challenge taking place this Sunday afternoon at River Hills Country Club in Calallen. This Sunday the Rayz Booster Club will host a scramble golf tournament giving fans their chance to tee off with their favorite players from the Rayz. The tournament will consist of four-man teams, with all participants guaranteed to play with either a Rayz player or a front office member. This is your chance to see how you stack up on the links with professional athletes. Check-in time begins at 12:30pm with the tee-off scheduled for 1:00pm. The cost for the tournament is $75 per player and all proceeds from the tournament go directly to the Rayz Booster Club.

The Rayz Booster Club helps support and fund Rayz hockey. They use the money earned at events such as the 4th Annual Ice Cold Golf Challenge to benefit the team with purchases for the organization, team facilities, and player and fan functions. This tournament is open to players of all skill levels. The River Hills Country Club is located at Northwest Blvd. and River Hills Dr. next to Calallen High School. You may join as a team or as an individual. For more information, please contact Laura Munoz with the Rayz Boosterz at (361) 813-4037 or via email at munozlaur@aol.com.
