Another Dach boy is heading to Chi-Town.

Saskatoon Blades winger Colton Dach is official Chicago Blackhawks property after being selected in the 2nd round, 62nd overall, in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday morning.

The 18-year-old is the younger brother to former Blades phenom Kirby Dach, who was taken by Chicago 3rd overall in the 2019 NHL draft and is considered one of the team's top rising talents.

Colton led the Blades in scoring in a COVID-shortened 2021 season, lighting the lamp 11 times and adding nine helpers in 20 games. This includes a season-high four points against the Moose Jaw Warriors in the second last game of the season.

Rotating as a multi-versatile left-winger and centre, the Fort Saskatchewan, AB product was a key component in the Blades' 3rd place finish in the East Division with a 16-5-2-1 record. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound lamplighter finished fourth in team scoring

After Chicago called Colton's name, social media lit up with the connection between the two Dach brothers.
