Colorado at Los Angeles: 14ers lead 3-0 and have league's top scorer in Von Wafer (20.1 ppg).
Albuquerque at Anaheim: Thunderbirds lead 3-2. Arsenal interim head coach Reggie Geary looking to start 2-0.

COLD PIZZA: Suspended Austin Toros mascot Da Bull is scheduled to appear on ESPN's "Cold Pizza" at 11:15 a.m. ET today to expound on antics in a game Wednesday that caused him to literally lose his head.
SPECIAL PARTNERSHIP: The Tulsa 66ers are donating proceeds from tickets sold to tonight's game against Sioux Falls to Special Olympics Oklahoma. The 66ers are donating $3 from each $13 ticket (normally $20) toward the fundraiser. Members of Team Tulsa and Broken Arrow Challengers Special Olympics teams will play an exhibition basketball game during halftime as well.
43 WASTED: Fort Worth guard Jose Barea poured in 43 points, the most of any player in the league this season, but it wasn't enough as the Flyers lost at Idaho on Thursday. On assignment from the Dallas Mavericks, Barea converted 18-of-24 field goal attempts. He was six points shy of the league single game scoring record.
REMAINDER OF THE SEASON: Former D-League forwards Justin Williams (Dakota) and Andre Brown (Sioux Falls) were signed for the remainder of the season on Thursday after completing a pair of 10-day contracts with the Sacramento Kings and Seattle Sonics respectively.
RECALLED: The Orlando Magic recalled forward James Augustine from the Anaheim Arsenal on Thursday. Augustine played in eight games with Anaheim, averaging 27.1 minutes, 10.1 points and 8.9 rebounds.
THEY SAID IT: "Patrick and I talk every day. I try to give him a progress report on what I expect. ... That's what this league is all about: development." ... Bakersfield coach Jim Harrick told the Bakersfield Californian about center Patrick O'Bryant, on assignment from Golden State and the ninth pick in the 2006 NBA Draft..

The inaugural D-League All-Star Game will be played on Feb. 17 on Center Court at NBA All-Star Jam Session at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m. PT and the game will air live on NBA TV.
QUIZ ANSWER: Albuquerque guard Cedric Bozeman and Tulsa guard Will Conroy share the league record for assists in a game with 20. Both record-setting performances happened this season.
