WASHINGTON - D.C. United (12-7-5, 41 points) continued their winning ways at RFK Stadium with a wild, thrilling come-from-behind victory over Real Salt Lake (7-8-8, 29 points). After conceding 2 early goals, United responded with a Chris Rolfe goal just before halftime. In the second half, a Rolfe penalty equalized, followed by a flurry of goals that didn't stop. Taylor Kemp scored a wonderfully-hit volley from 25 yards, Nick DeLeon hit another curling outside-the-box shot, and United finished on top 6-4. With the victory, United remain on top of the Eastern Conference and lead the Supporters' Shield by 3 points. United travel to Montreal August 8 (8 p.m., CSN).
