CHANTILLY, VA (April 10, 2003) âD.C. United announced today the release of goalkeeper Michael Behonick and midfielder Hayden Woodworth. The players were both selected in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft.
Behonick was acquired in the sixth round (51st overall) of the SuperDraft from American University. The 6'2" 180 pound goalkeeper lead AU to their second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance where they went on to defeat George Washington in the first round, losing to Maryland in the second.
