D.C. United to Host Ladies Night August 14

Washington, D.C. (August 5, 2010) - D.C. United is set to host its third Ladies Night prior to the team's game against FC Dallas on Saturday, August 14. Women are invited for a girls' night out to enjoy food from local restaurants and complimentary beverages at a private pre-game event while browsing demos and sampling products from local boutiques and salons. It will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at RFK Stadium's Champions Club with kickoff set for 8:00 p.m.

Just a few of the confirmed vendors that will be on hand providing products, taste-tests, giveaways, and demos are:

- The P Spot Fitness Studio chair and pole dancing lessons

- Nail Taxi manicures

- Stella and Dot , Lia Sophia , and Silpada jewelery

- Washington Freedom prize wheel and giveaways

Ladies Night tickets are just $35 and include a ticket to United's game, entry to the Ladies Night party at 5:30 p.m., two free Corona drinks (for those 21 and older), free Pepsi products, a gift bag, a VW eco bag, and a D.C. United mug. For fans who have purchased game tickets already, a Ladies Night upgrade is available for $15.

Everyone attending Ladies Night will be automatically entered into a drawing for gift certificates, free products, and autographed D.C. United items. A select few grand-prize winners will win field-level passes to receive a jersey right off the back of D.C. United players Santino Quaranta, Chris Pontius, or Danny Allsopp. Music for the party will be provided by DJ Chris Styles from HOT 99.5. Participants of Ladies Night must be 18 years of age or older.
