
D.C. United Midfielder Martín Rodríguez to Undergo ACL Reconstruction Surgery

Washington, DC - D.C. United midfielder Martín Rodríguez will undergo anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery after tearing his ACL in his right knee at training. Team Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Giuliani, of Inova Sports Medicine, will perform the surgery. Rodríguez is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2023 MLS season as he rehabilitates from the injury and will be placed on the Season-Ending Injury List.
