Charlotte FC News Release
CHARLOTTE, NC - Charlotte Football Club today welcomes Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) as the Club's newest Founding-Level partner. The partnership includes new initiatives that will positively impact youth in the greater Charlotte area.
As part of the multi-year agreement, DTNA is introducing "Corner Kicks for Kids" to Charlotte FC matchdays in the 2023 MLS season. For every corner kick CLTFC takes at home this season, DTNA will donate $100 to Boys & Girls Club of Charlotte.
"Community is at the heart of everything we do at Charlotte FC, and to partner with DTNA who shares the same ethos adds tremendous value to our Club," said CLTFC president Joe LaBue. "We're excited to welcome in DTNA to our family and look forward to empowering the Carolinas through soccer together for many years to come."
Furthering both organizations commitment to the community, on Kids Night Out for the Club's home match against New York City FC on May 6, fans will be able to receive a limited-edition CLTFC Kids Book courtesy of DTNA. They have also committed to participating in the Pitches for Progress fields program, which provides safe places to play in neighborhoods across the Carolinas.
"DTNA is proud to be part of communities in the Carolinas for over 50 years," said Jeff Allen, senior vice president of operations and specialty vehicles, Daimler Truck North America. "Our partnership with Charlotte Football Club is an amazing opportunity to expand and celebrate our commitment to the local community and youth sports. We look forward to a successful partnership and many exciting seasons ahead."
