
D.C. United Holds Holiday Auction Online

Washington, D.C. (November 30, 2009) - D.C. United and its charitable arm, United for D.C., will open its holiday auction on Cyber Monday, November 30 via dcunited.com. Soccer fans will be able to bid on exclusive items unavailable for purchase anywhere else, with proceeds going to United's charity. The auction will provide the perfect opportunity to get a jump-start on holiday shopping while supporting the many programs of United for D.C.
Featured specialty sports items up for bid include a 2009 team autographed Real Madrid jersey and ball, and D.C. United home jerseys autographed by the club's top stars, including Ben Olsen and Rodney Wallace. In addition to other D.C. United experiences and items, the auction will also include a baseball bat autographed by Philadelphia Phillies Outfielder Shane Victorino and a 2009 team autographed Washington Capitals hockey stick.
