D.C. United, Comcast SportsNet Announce 24-Game Schedule for 2015 MLS Season

Washington, D.C. (Feb. 26, 2015) - Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic and D.C. United have announced the team's regional television schedule for the 2015 Major League Soccer (MLS) season, which features an all-time high 24 matches and kicks off with the team's season opener against the Montreal Impact on March 7 at 3 p.m.

Comcast SportsNet's schedule of live D.C. United coverage consists of 13 home and 11 road matches and includes all league games not scheduled to be televised nationally. The network will again present gameday shows D.C. United Pregame Live and D.C. United Postgame Live surrounding select games.

"We are thrilled to reach new levels of coverage in 2015 with our longtime partner Comcast SportsNet," said D.C. United Chief Operating Officer Tom Hunt. "With approval of a new stadium and a core of returning players from the top team in the Eastern Conference last season, D.C. United has fantastic momentum, and we expect more excitement in the season ahead."

As the official sports network of D.C. United, Comcast SportsNet will deliver comprehensive news, digital and original content covering the Black-and-Red throughout the season, highlighted by a new monthly show, D.C. United Central . The half-hour program will begin in April, with new editions presented each month through October.

Extensive D.C. United coverage will also be featured on the network's news and analysis programs, including Geico SportsNet Central and SportsTalk Live with Brian Mitchell . Written, video and interactive content will be delivered across the network's online, mobile and social media platforms, highlighted by CSNwashington.com and @CSNDCUnited.

Comcast SportsNet's live coverage of D.C. United will again be led by play-by-play announcer Dave Johnson, who has held that position since the team's inaugural season in 1996. Johnson will be joined by second-year analyst Santino Quaranta, a Baltimore native and former D.C. United midfielder.

Comcast SportsNet anchor and reporter Sebastian Salazar, who rejoined the network in December, will return to the network's live coverage of the Black-and-Red as sideline reporter and gameday show host. Salazar will also lead D.C. United Central and contribute to the network's daily news and digital media coverage of the team.
