Orlando City SC News Release
ORLANDO - February 26, 2015 - Orlando City Soccer Club today announced that fewer than 1,000 season tickets remain for its inaugural 2015 Major League Soccer (MLS) campaign. The team will cap season tickets at 14,000 to ease transition for fans from the Orlando Citrus Bowl to City's new downtown stadium in 2016.
"We could not be more excited about the response we've received from our supporters in Orlando and throughout Central Florida," said Orlando City Founder and President Phil Rawlins. "Our players are ready to take the pitch on March 8 and look forward to rejoicing this moment with their City. Less than 1,000 opportunities remain to join us on the season-long journey, and take advantage of the wonderful benefits that come along with being a Season Ticket Member."
The Club Section along with other sections such as Midfield East are nearing sellout capacity.
Remaining season tickets are available for purchase at www.OrlandoCitySC.com or by calling 855-ORL-CITY. Season Ticket Members enjoy a number of benefits including membership in Society XXI and priority for 2016 season tickets in the new stadium.
Orlando City will host several events leading up to its historic match against New York City FC March 8 (5:00 p.m. ET kickoff) as part of Operation #FillTheBowl. Admission to many of these events includes a ticket to the Club's inaugural MLS game. More information is available at www.OrlandoCitySC.com/FillTheBowl.
