Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
Peoria, IL -- The Peoria Rivermen kept their hopes for a divisional title alive with a 6-1 win over the Cincinnati Cyclones on Friday at Carver Arena in Peoria, Illinois.
The Rivermen struck in the first period just 1:44 into the game when Trevor Baker notched his 16th goal of the season. The Cyclones, though, would answer that tally when Brent Twordik knocked in a power play goal at 6:19.

Peoria added a pair of goals in the third to stake themselves to the big win..
Cincinnati hosts the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies tomorrow at 7:05 PM. Prior to the game, there will be a fundraising match featuring NHL Hall of Famer Phil Esposito, former Cyclone Paul Lawless, the Hanson Brothers, and other former Cyclones.
Proceeds from the event benefit the American Cancer Society. The benefit game starts at 5:00 PM. Gates to U.S. Bank Arena will open at 4:30 PM.
