New Haven County Cutters News Release
(West Haven, CT- August 23, 2004) The New Haven County Cutters announced a trade that sent outfielder Darren Ciraco to the New Jersey Jackals for future considerations.
The 23-year old outfielder batted .333 and was tied for second on the team in homers (7) in 28 games played. Ciraco was acquired prior the the first half conclusion and has hit safely in 21 of the 28 games he played. The trade was completed prior to the 11:59 PM trade deadline for players on Sunday, August 23rd, in order for them to be eligible for postseason play.
