W: Craig Breslow (3-0) L: Ryan Bonesio (4-6) S: Fabricio Benitez (13)

SS Chris Rowan's three-run, eighth-inning moon shot was the difference as New Jersey snapped their four-game losing streak with a win over New Haven County. Down 1-0, the Jackals tied the game on C Alberto Vasquez's two-run single in the second, and added two more in the third on 3B Wilton Veras's third-inning blast. New Jersey cruised until the seventh, when Cutters DH Jimmy Hurst knocked a three-run home run to put New Haven County ahead 4-3, but the lead wouldn't stand for long as Ryan Bonesio gave up Rowan's league-leading 20th home run. 1B Hector Lebron was 3-for-5 with a run scored for the Cutters.
