
Cutters' Horace Lawrence Tabbed Can-Am All-Star

WEST HAVEN, CT - New Haven County Cutters' left fielder Horace Lawrence III was named to this year's Post Season Can-Am League All-Star Team as selected by the eight league managers and media representatives.
Lawrence finished the regular season one percentage point out of second place in league batting with a .318 average. He also stood fifth in hits with 99.
In 87 games this season, Lawrence collected five home runs, 15 doubles, scored 48 runs, tallied 41 RBI, posted a .441 slugging percentage, stole 24 bases and led the Cutters with a .380 on-base percentage.
The Richmond, CA, native earned a Batter of the Week award (July 24-30) when he hit .481 (13-for-27) with two home runs, a double, four runs scored, four RBI and two stolen bases in seven games.
