
Cutters Fall to Spinners on the Road

After what started out as a pitchers duel, the Lowell Spinner put up a crooked number in each of the 6th, 7th and 8th innings to hand the Williamsport Crosscutters their second consecutive loss, 8-1.
Williamsport Starter, Seranthony Dominguez worked five scoreless innings before the Lowelll Spinners would get at three-run double from Jerry Downs to give the Spinners a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the sixth.
Dominguez would be lifted after going 6 innings, allowing the three runs on 5 hits while walking one and striking out seven Spinners batters. Dominguez would take the loss.
The Spinners would add three more runs in the bottom of the 7th inning against Cutters reliever Tyler Hallead, who was making his professional debut.
Hallead wasn't only Cutters reliever making his professional debut to surrender runs, as Gandy Stubblefield allowed two runs in the bottom 8th.
Williamsport would get their lone run on an RBI single by Jake Sweaney, that scored Enmanuel Garcia, in the top of the 9th.
