
Brault to Join WV Black Bears on Rehab Assignment

Steven Brault, RHP for the Pittsburgh Pirates Triple-A affiliate team, the Indianapolis Indians was placed on the disabled list and will be sent to the West Virginia Black Bears as a rehab assignment. Brault was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 11th Round of the 2013 draft out of Regis University. He was acquired by the Pittsburgh Pirates via trade in February of 2015.
Brault ended his 2015 season in Double- A with a 2.43 ERA in 155.2 IP and a .229 AVG. After the 2015 season, he was moved to the Pirates Triple-A affiliate team in Indianapolis, Indiana. While with the Indians, Brault had a 2.70 ERA in 26.2 IP and a .245 AVG.
