Curve Series Opener with Akron Postponed Due to Rain

CURVE, Pa. - Monday night's series opener between the Altoona Curve and the Akron RubberDucks has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 3.

Those fans that held tickets for tonight's game (Monday, April 7) can exchange those tickets for any other 2014 regular season Curve home game for equal or lesser value based upon availability.

Altoona and Akron will now begin the series at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with gates opening up at 5:30 p.m. It will be a Two-for-Tuesday presented by Atlantic Broadband with two-for-one offers on tickets, hot dogs and small popcorns.

LHP Joely Rodriguez (NR) will get the start for the Curve in the single game on Tuesday while RHP Kyle Davies is scheduled to make the start for Akron.
