RICHMOND, Va. - Stetson Allie knocked an RBI double in the tenth inning to score the go-ahead run for the Altoona Curve, who clinched a playoff spot with an extra-inning, 2-0 win over the Richmond Flying Squirrels on Monday at The Diamond in Richmond, Virginia.

Allie drove home Tomas Morales, who set the table with an infield single and advanced to second on a throwing error, against Jose Casilla (Loss, 2-3) to give the Curve a 1-0 lead.

Altoona (76-63) will face the Akron RubberDucks in the first round of the Eastern League Divisional Series beginning on Wednesday at Peoples Natural Gas Field.

Anderson Feliz added an insurance run for the Curve with a pinch-hit, RBI single to extend the Altoona lead to 2-0.

Brett McKinney (Save, 2) tossed a perfect bottom of the tenth, including two strikeouts, to close out the victory.

Curve starter Tyler Eppler did not allow a run in his six innings of work, scattering five hits and setting a new career high with four walks but also tied a career high by striking out seven.

Jared Lakind (Win, 5-1) worked three scoreless frames in relief of Eppler and allowed just one hit, while walking one and striking out one.

The Curve had difficulty touching Richmond starter Andrew Suarez, as he posted eight scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out eight.

The Western Division Series begins on Wednesday night from PNG Field at 6 p.m.
