
Curve Add Two Pitchers from Class-A Lynchburg

Altoona Curve News Release
The Curve today added pitchers Kyle Bloom and Yoann Torrealba from Class-A Lynchburg and placed pitchers Dave Davidson and Matt Peterson on the Lynchburg roster.
Bloom, a left-hander who was the Pirates' 5th round selection in the 2004 Draft out of Illinois State University, was 7-8 with a 4.30 ERA and a team-high 108 strikeouts in 25 starts with Lynchburg.
Torrealba, who was signed by Pittsburgh in May 2000 as an amateur free agent out of Venezuela, went 6-6 with a 4.01 ERA in 43 games (3 starts) with the Hillcats.
