Dayton Dragons News Release

DAYTON, OHIO-The Cincinnati Reds official website, reds.com, is reporting today that pitcher Johnny Cueto will not make his scheduled rehabilitation assignment tonight with Double-A Pensacola and his future rehab schedule is uncertain. Reds.com previously reported that Cueto would pitch in Dayton for the Dragons on an injury rehabilitation assignment on Wednesday, May 8.

Cueto will be examined again on Monday and a potential rehab schedule will be updated at that time.

Cueto is on the Reds 15-day disabled list with a strained right lat muscle. He has not pitched since April 13.

The Dragons game at Clinton tonight has been canceled due to rain and will not be rescheduled. The Dragons play at Kane County on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. EDT. The next home game is Wednesday, May 8 at Fifth Third Field vs. the Lansing Lugnuts.
