
Crushers School Supply Drive Re-Scheduled

AVON, Ohio--The Lake Erie Crushers are partnering with the Neighborhood Alliance for a special event on Tuesday, Aug.19. The event is being made up after the original event was cancelled on Aug. 11, due to a rainout.
As part of a "School Supply Drive" each fan will receive a free ticket with the donation of a school supply item. Fans will not be able to use cash to purchase tickets on this day.
All donations will benefit the Neighborhood Alliance, which prides itself on helping communities grow stronger by caring for their clients most basic needs. With their inspired mission of strengthening neighborhoods, they continue to expand programs and services to address the diverse and changing needs of families and individuals in Northeast Ohio.
Each school supply item donated will be valid for one free ticket. The item must be from the recommended list located below.
School Supply Donation List: Scissors, Crayons, Pencils, Highlighters, Disinfecting wipes, Tissues, Dry erase markers, Glue sticks, Large pink erasers, Paper towels, Folders, Markers, Plastic pencil box, Elmer's glue, Ziploc Bags, Headphones, Elmer's glue, 1" binder, colored pencils, post-it notes, Washable markers, Index Cards, Red Pens, Composition Book, Ruler, Spiral notebooks, Wide-ruled filler paper, Pencil pouch, Calculator (TI-30), Book Covers, Protractor and compass, Flash drive, and hand sanitizer.
The Lake Erie Crushers, the 2009 Frontier League Champions, and 2011 Frontier League Organization of the year, play ball at All Pro Freight Stadium, a 5,000 capacity stadium located in Avon, Ohio. The Frontier League is an independent baseball league with 14 teams operating throughout the Midwest. Season tickets for the 2014 season are on sale now!
