Crunch Unveil Revised Shamrock Patch in Protest of NCAA

Syracuse, NY (March 14, 2007) - The Syracuse Crunch unveiled today a revised patch that will be worn during their Saturday, March 17 game against the Houston Aeros in protest of the NCAA's decision to leave the Syracuse Orange men's basketball team out of the NCAA Tournament.

The patch will feature a traditional green shamrock in recognition of St. Patrick's Day as well as a basketball representing the Crunch's strong support of Syracuse University.

The Crunch return home to host the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
