Admirals, MPD to Host Recruitment Night Tonight

Milwaukee, WI--The Admirals and the Milwaukee Police Department are teaming up to host a Milwaukee Police Recruiting Night when the Admirals take on the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights on Wednesday, March 14th at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center. The doors will open for the game at 6:00 pm.

The Police Department will have equipment displays and personnel from the Department's Tactical Enforcement Unit (SWAT), Underwater Investigation Unit (Dive Team) and the Hazardous Devices Unit (Bomb Squad) located outside section 203 on the Bradley Center Concourse. Officers will be available to answer questions about the units and about their careers with the Milwaukee Police Department.

Also on hand will be representatives from the City of Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission, the hiring body for the Milwaukee Police Department. They will have application materials for those interested in a career with the MPD, and will be available to answer questions about the application process for Police Officer.

In addition, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett will drop the ceremonial first puck just prior to the start of the game.
