
Crunch to Hold First-Ever 'Crunch Rule In School' Event

Syracuse, NY (August 27, 2003) â The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they will hold the first-ever âCrunch Rule In School' educational game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Wednesday, October 1 at 11 am.
The Crunch will be donating every seat in the arena to Central New York area schools, giving children in grades 3-8 an opportunity to have a hands-on, interactive experience while learning about the world of hockey.
The day will feature a display by the Onondaga Historical Society, a math and history quiz, an Erie Canal Educational display, geography lessons, a tour of the War Memorial by the Veterans Committee and science demonstrations by the Museum of Science and Technology.
