
Sonar Heads to Quassy

Hartford, August 27, 2003 -- The Hartford Wolf Pack's popular mascot, Sonar, will be appearing this Saturday, August 30th, at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, CT from noon-2 PM.
The appearance is part of Quassy's "$24 Carload Days" weekend. A portion of the proceeds from this weekend will be donated to the Campership Fund, which helps send underprivileged children to summer camp. Carloads of up to 10 people will be charged just $24 to park and enjoy all of the traditional rides in the park, Quassy beach and the new "Saturation Station" interactive family water play area. For each additional person there is a $5 charge, and those not wishing to take advantage of the carload price will be charged $4 for parking. Quassy is located on Rt. 64 in Middlebury.
