Crunch Reassign Ben Knopp to Dayton

Syracuse, NY (November 10, 2004) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have reassigned right wing Ben Knopp to Dayton (ECHL).

Knopp, 22, appeared in five games with Syracuse this season, recording four penalty minutes. In seven games with Dayton this season, Knopp has recorded 3 goals, 2 assists and 19 penalty minutes. In 80 career AHL games, all with Syracuse, Knopp has recorded 8 goals, 6 assists and 87 penalty minutes. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Knopp was Columbus' second pick, 69th overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft.

The Crunch host Albany on Wednesday, November 24 for a 7 p.m. game. On Friday, November 26, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton visits Syracuse for a 7:30 p.m. match-up.
