
Crunch Announce 2008-09 Schedule Format

Syracuse Crunch News Release
Syracuse, NY (June 27, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the American Hockey League has released its schedule format for the 2008-09 season.
The Crunch will play 44 games against their North Division foes (Rochester 12, Hamilton 8, Lake Erie 8, Toronto 8, Manitoba 4 and Grand Rapids 4). Syracuse also has 8 contests against the West Division (2 each against Chicago, Houston, Rockford and San Antonio).
In addition, the Crunch will face-off against the East Division 26 times (Albany 8, Binghamton 8, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 8, Hershey 2). Syracuse will face the Atlantic Division Springfield Falcons twice during the regular season.
The breakdown of the Crunch's 2008-09 schedule format is as follows:
