Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
The Williamsport Crosscutters snapped their 4-game losing skid with a 7-4 win in Hudson Valley on Saturday night. RHP Todd Redmond, the league ERA leader (1.27 coming into the game) started for the Cutters going 5 innings and giving up 2 runs on 7 hits in getting yet another no-decision. He has had a no-decision in 9 of his 11 starts this year. 1B Steven Pearce, DH James Boone and 3B Euvi Solano were all 3-for-5 in the game. The win leaves the Cutters 6 ½ games back in the McNamara Division and 1 game behind Lowell in the wild-card playoff race.
