Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
The Crosscutters lost to the Jamestown Jammers 6-2 in 12 innings Wednesday night.
The Cutters have now lost a season high 6 games in a row. Williamsport could not capitalize on a good outing by RHP Todd Redmond (1-1). Redmond went 6.0 innings, giving up 2 hits, 1 unearned run, and struck out 4. 3B Eddie Prasch went 2 for 3 with 2 singles in his first game in a Cutters uniform. 2B John Santiago is now on a modest 3 game hitting streak as he went 1 for 5 with a double. The Crosscutters remain 4 games behind Staten Island in the McNamara Division.
The Cutters will look to end their losing streak Thursday night at Bowman Field hosting Jamestown in game 2 of the 3-game series.
