Crocker Steps Down as Stars President

November 29, 2023 - United States Hockey League (USHL)
Lincoln Stars News Release

Lincoln Stars team president Lori Crocker announced today that after six years with the organization she is leaving for a new opportunity.

The day to day operations will be run moving forward by Sal Miliotto (Vice President of Sales) and Harrison Gates (Vice President of Operations). And they can be reached at sal@lincolnstars.com and harrison@lincolnstars.com

"I have decided to pursue a new opportunity," Crocker said. "Although I will be moving on from the day-to-day role as the President, I will still be around over the next few months to assist in the transition. I am grateful for my time here with the Lincoln Stars and for the opportunities ownership has provided me. Most of all I will miss the most amazing staff in the USHL. I would like to thank the fans for their continued support of the team and the organization"

Crocker's first season with the Lincoln Stars was in 2018-19. She quickly overhauled the operation with the goal of returning Lincoln Stars to its previous success. She oversaw all day-to-day operations, from sponsorship and ticket sales to the management of the Ice Box.

"Lori has done a phenomenal job in getting the Lincoln Stars back to its winning traditions both on and off the ice," said Tyler Shaffar, president of the ownership group that operates the Stars. "We are going to miss her day-to-day contributions. She set a path and foundation for the Stars and its die-hard fans that ensures that we will continue to grow and be successful for years to come. We are thankful for her dedication."

"This was a very difficult decision," Crocker said, "and I am sad to leave as the Stars organization and staff have become like family to me and they will all be greatly missed. I wish nothing but the best to the organization and the Stars staff. The Stars' future is bright! Go Stars!"

Crocker will perform the ceremonial puck drop when the Stars return home on Dec. 8 for the first game of a three-game set against the Fargo Force. Fans can purchase a December Weekend Package to get tickets to all three games for the price of two at lincolnstars.com.
