March 9, 2012 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Erie Otters News Release

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League have announced that center Connor Crisp will return to the lineup for Saturday's home game against the Kitchener Rangers and that they have received goaltender Keinan Brown on emergency loan from the Peterborough Petes.

Crisp will play in his first game as a forward since a pre-season shoulder injury in September. He made an unexpected return to the lineup as a goaltender March 4, receiving first star honors and a standing ovation from the fans in St. Catharines after making 32 saves against the Niagara IceDogs.

The story has received massive media attention over the week, as Crisp has been interviewed by over two dozen media outlets, including CBC, TSN, Sportsnet, SiriusXM Radio and Yahoo! Sports' Puck Daddy.

Over 150 Connor Crisp t-shirts have been sold across 25 states, two Canadian provinces and China. The eBay auction of Crisp's jersey worn in the game was at $570.00 as of noon Friday. The auction ends Sunday evening. Proceeds from the t-shirt sale and jersey auction will benefit Erie Shriners Hospital for Children and the Mario Lemieux Foundation.

Brown appeared in three games for the Petes in the 2010-11 season. With the Cobourg Cougars of the OJAHL this season, Brown had a record of 19-8-1-1 with a 3.47 goals-against-average and a save percentage of .902.

Crisp and Brown will dress Saturday night at 7:00 p.m., when the Rangers visit Tullio Arena. The game is sponsored by Father and Son Remodeling. For tickets, call (814) 452-4857 or go to ErieEvents.com.
